“Home for the Holidays”
“Home for the Holidays” has special meaning for our Five Aspects ministry this Christmas.
Our Founder Is In His New Home In Heaven.
2022 was Bill’s final Christmas on earth. This Christmas, he is home with the Lord! We offer praise that “goodness and mercy followed Bill all the days of his life, and now he dwells in the house of the LORD forever (Psalm 23:6).”
Here is a delightful shot of our ministry leaders—the new (Bryan Vermillion) and the old (Bill Mouser)—cooking up something good at Lake Haven this past March. We are so grateful for the smooth months of transition we have experienced from one place to the next and from one man to the next.
Our Ministry Is Settled Into Its New Home Office In Houston.
Emily and Kristine in the Five Aspects Ministries new home office.
The move from Waxahachie (Dallas area) to Highlands (Houston area) began in April 2023 when Kristine started to make the plan and lay the groundwork to move the operation. Hours went into “building the bucket” to move everything into. Emily was not supposed to be available to start working until June, but at the beginning of May the Lord cleared her schedule, and she was able to start sooner than expected. Kristine developed and implemented new procedures and taught Emily the ropes of the new accounting system.
We paused at the end of May to honor the life of William Mouser. His sudden homegoing altered our plans significantly and sped up the transition process.
Bryan and Kristine hopped on a jet plane and flew to the other side of the world for most of the month of June to celebrate their son’s graduation and take that epic family vacation they had always wanted to take. It was a leap of faith to go to New Zealand and Australia in the first place, but to leave Barbara and Emily behind when everything was in limbo made it even harder. However, the Lord was good and provided wonderfully for us all.

In July, the transition to the Houston office was complete, and we were in over our heads for a few weeks. Mid-July through September are our busiest book order months, so we jumped into fulfillment right when orders were starting to rev up. Emily and Kristine had fun establishing Five Aspects Ministries’ new home and daily routine. Bryan provided the leadership, the guidance, the place, the tools, the infrastructure, and the muscle to get everything set-up. Ryan, Emily’s husband, has also unofficially joined our team with additional height, muscle, humor, energy, and spontaneity. Bryan and Ryan are truly Five Aspects men in every way.
Francesca Chapel was home of Aspects from 2002-2020. Just as the old Aspects home in Waxahachie had the Francesca chapel as a venue for meetings and conferences, the new Aspects home has access to the lovely Lake Haven for such gatherings.
Prayers!
For the past four months, Kristine has been formatting and editing the second edition of the Five Aspects of Man. The work has been difficult and time-consuming. At the time of the writing of this communique, the final chapters have been compiled and are being edited by our team. Please pray for Kristine and for the faithful men who are serving as readers and consultants in this process. Our goal is to have it available in January 2024. Pray that the work will not be hindered on any front, and that the Five Aspects of Man – 2nd Edition will be completed in God’s timing, in His Way, and for His glory alone.

Barbara is grateful to be spending her first Christmas as a widow with her sister and brother-in-law in their new farm home. This house has been many years in planning and is dedicated to the family, the edification of the saints, and, in all things, to the glory of God. God is so faithful to provide new dwelling places when old ones are taken away.
Prayers And Praises
Christ came to be a home for us. He returned to heaven to prepare a home for us. He asks us to be a home for Him.
Thank God with us for His amazing work among us in 2023—the close of Bill’s well-spent life, the successful administrative move to Houston, the new staff, and the new and renewed procedures and publications.
Please pray for Five Aspects Ministries as we seek to make this work an expanding home and a growing light for Christ in 2024. Many are homeless in body and soul. Nurturing homes are not built apart from manly men and womanly women. To train and help rebuild such men and women is central to the ministry of Five Aspects.
Please consider supporting us financially. Examine our publications to see if any meet your needs or would be useful to you as a gift or evangelistic tool. Both one-time donations and regular gifts are appreciated.
Pray for the Board Meeting January 13, 2024. Please pray that we make wise decisions and have edifying fellowship.
Merry Christmas As We Celebrate Christ Who Is Our Home
As a baby, Jesus was born in a manger. As a man, He had nowhere to lay His head. Yet He came not only to prepare a home for us, but to be home for us.
2 Corinthians 9:15
Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!
Ephesians 2:19–22
So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God's household, 20having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone, 21in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord, 22in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit.
